Requests

Requests are a formal notification to your landlord about a problem requiring repair or attention.

What to know when submitting a request!

  • Emergency vs. Non-Emergency:

Differentiate between urgent issues (like a leak causing immediate water damage) and routine problems (like a leaky faucet).

  • 1. Submit Your Request:

  • Follow the Landlord's Instructions: Submit your online requestby filling up the form.

  • Be Specific: Clearly describe the problem, its location, and any relevant details. Include photos or videos: Visual if possible can help your landlord understand the issue better.

  • Keep Rent Current: Landlords are not obligated to make repairs if you are behind on rent.

Be aware: In Texas, for non-emergency repairs, a landlord is legally expected to make a diligent effort to repair within a "reasonable time," which is generally considered to be seven days after receiving notice.
